This is the notes I wrote about my biography a deep view of where I’m from and where I am going.
I am truly humbled to receive the Transplant Hero 2024 Award from Urban Light Ministries! Thank you, Pastor Eli, and the incredible team for this meaningful recognition.
My journey started early: At 11, alongside my father, Michelet Jerome, we created GOMAN NET, bringing training and internet access to his hometown. This early dive into technology sparked my passion for innovation.
By 16, I became Director of Technology at Radio TV Lambi in Jérémie, using media as a tool to inspire and inform the community.
Soon after, with my longtime friend Gerly Philidor, we launched PHAMBAS Production, driving cultural projects that celebrated and promoted our Haitian heritage.
In 2017, I was honored to become a part of the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative – YLAI by the U.S. of Department of Statement, further fueling my mission of empowering communities.
In Haiti, I empowered thousands through programs like ITEF and WITEP, working alongside incredible collaborators and the Ambassade des États-Unis, Port-au-Prince (Haïti) to create opportunities for youth and women across nation. Here in Springfield, I’ve carried this mission forward through initiatives like Radio NDL – New Diaspora Live, a long-held dream of its owner Gilbert Fortil, and by sitting in the board Haitian Community Alliance – Springfield Ohio, a united effort with local leaders to strengthen and uplift the Haitian community. Together, we’re building bridges between cultures, fostering growth, and amplifying voices for a brighter future.
On a more personal level, I am proud to serve the entire community as the General Consultant at Jerome & Co. Consulting Agency, where I provide guidance across multiple sectors, helping individuals and businesses thrive.
A heartfelt shoutout to my partner, my friend, and my beautiful family—you are my foundation and inspiration. This award may have my name on it, but it belongs to all of us in the community. It’s a statement of what we can achieve together. Let’s keep moving forward, united and stronger!
The journey continues!
